Justus Strelow: Sachsens Best Biathlete with Ambitious Plans
Justus Strelow, the top biathlete from Saxony, delivered impressive performances at the Biathlon World Cup in Oberhof, securing two top 20 finishes. However, despite his strong individual performances, Strelow was not nominated for the relay team. Looking ahead, the talented athlete has some exciting plans in store for after the season.
Mixed Feelings for Justus Strelow
“Nicht unzufrieden, aber auch nicht rundum zufrieden” (Not unhappy, but not completely satisfied), expressed Strelow when reflecting on his results around the 15th place.
The competition in Oberhof proved to be a challenging affair, with intermittent moments of suspense, while the final results showed significant time gaps. The second-placed German men’s relay team finished over two minutes behind the victorious Norwegians. Icy gusts turned the races into a bit of a lottery on the last day of the Biathlon World Cup in Oberhof. The German quartet used a total of 15 spare cartridges, and Philipp Nawrath had to complete an additional penalty lap.
Despite the mixed feelings and challenges faced, Justus Strelow remains determined to improve and has plans for a significant change after the season. With his talent and dedication, fans can look forward to witnessing Strelow’s future endeavors.
